Eid al-Adha or Eid Qurban , also called the "Festival of the Sacrifice", is the most important Islamic holiday celebrated worldwide each year. It honours the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God's command. It is called Tabaski in the countries of West and Central Africa (Tchad and Camerun) where there is an important Muslim community.

Here is an exceptional reportage of the Fête de Tabaski in Lomé on the 21st July 2018.
