My longest background as a photographer is taking photos of theatre which I started in the late 1970s/early 80s. I immediately had a bond with this type of photography. I love representing artists in their element, I love immortalising moments behind the scenes to show the preparation in theatre backstages or just before coming onto stage: the chaotic scenes before everything clicks and then the harmony which exists on the stage. My photographs will show the love for live performance art: the hidden effort behind the audience's experience, how hours of work and practice translate into the illusion of effortlessness.

Thanks to my decades of experience as a scene photographer and through the years I refined intuition and speed. I feel at ease capturing every type of performance, capturing all the key moments and creating dynamic and passionate shots for brochures, websites or merchandise.

I accept commissions for all sorts of live performances: from classic theatre to dance and music to talk shows and live shows.
